In an apparatus for transmitting a movement which, as a function of a first, translational movement of a first coupling element (1) to which a first component (2) can be coupled, produces a translational movement of a second coupling element (3) to which a second component (4) can be coupled, the invention provides that the first and the second coupling element (1, 3) are connected to one another, such that they can move by means of a first rigid element (7), and in that the first coupling element is connected to a first lever (8) which is mounted in a fixed position, and the second coupling element (3) is connected to a second lever (10) which is mounted in a fixed position. When a movement is being transmitted, the arrangement thus results in the capability first of all to retard the movement of the second component (4) and later to accelerate it again in a corresponding manner, or vice versa.
