Summary:A unit of ventilation tubing for coupling to other such units of ventilation tubing in series to form a ventilation duct in which leakage and consequent pressure loss are minimized. The unit of ventilation tubing includes a flexible air impermeable ventilation tube having first and second end portions at first and second ends thereof, respectively. The unit further includes a first fastening member affixed to the tube at the first end portion and a second fastening member affixed to the tube at the second end portion spaced from the second end. The first and second fastening members are fastenable together whereby a ventilation duct may be formed by placing a plurality of the units of ventilation tubing end to end in series with the first fastening member of a selected unit fastened to the second fastening member of a next adjacent unit with a portion of the tube of the next adjacent unit being disposed in a portion of the tube of the selected unit in an overlapping relationship thereby minimizing air leakage in the ventilation duct.
