Summary: | Provided is an overhead transmission line comprising a steel core and energization metal stranded wires which are provided on its outer periphery in a plurality of layers. The outermost layer of the energization metal stranded wires is formed by a stranded wire which is mixedly stranded by an energization aluminum strand and at least one snow melting magnetic metal strand, so that an outer diameter formed by the snow melting magnetic metal strand mixedly stranding the outermost layer is larger than an outer diameter formed by the energization aluminum strand. According to this ice/snow accretion resistant overhead transmission line, accretive ice/snow can be more effectively melted than the prior art. |
