Summary:The four isomer compound derived from racemiccis/trans-3-(2,2-dichloroethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcycllopropanecarboxylic acid and (S)(cyano)(3-phenoxyphenyl)methanol is twice as effective as cypermethrin against certain insect species. but quite unexpectedly is significantly less toxic to mammals and certain species of fish at rates giving commercial control of target crop insects. e composé à quatre isomères dérivé de l'acide cis/trans-3-(2,2-dichloroéthényl)-2,2-diméthylcyclopropanecarboxylique racémique et du (S)(cyano)(3-phénoxyphényl)méthanol est deux fois plus efficace que la cyperméthrine contre certaines espèces d'insecte, et, de façon assez étonnante, il est substantiellement moins toxique pour les mammifères et certaines espèces de poisson à des concentrations suffisantes pour assurer une maîtrise commerciale des insectes ravageurs des récoltes visés.
