Summary:Disclosed are light-sensitive adducts of a diazonium resin having a plurality of pendant diazonium groups and certain sulfopolyesters having a plurality of sulfo groups. The sulfopolyesters are the product of the esterification reaction of (a) ethylene glycol and at least one branched chain glycol; with (b) at least two dicarboxylic acids independently selected from the group of sulfoarylene dicarboxylic acids; alkyl or alkoxy substituted meta- or para- arylene dicarboxylic acids; unsubstituted, non-ortho- or peri- arylene dicarboxylic acids, and aliphatic dicarboxylic acids. The light-sensitive adducts make excellent coatings for presensitized lithoplates.
