Summary:A method and apparatus is disclosed for bonding fiber reinforced plastic automotive body parts to reinforcement members using dielectric heating. This is accomplished by applying a thermosetting adhesive between the mating surfaces of the fiber reinforced plastic skin and the reinforcement member and then administering a high frequency signal for a period of time sufficient to cure the adhesive without causing substantial adverse effects to the surface quality of the fiber reinforced plastic skin.
