Summary: | PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY A photosensitive device characterized by high sensitivity, panchromatism and electric charging ability and useful in electrophotography is a three layer structure (support, photoconductive layer and insulating layer). The photosensitive layer is vacuum deposited on the support and is composed substantially of Se, but a 10 .mu. thickness layer thereof in contact with the insulating layer contains 1 - 50% by weight As or Te and 0.5 - 1000 ppm of at least one element of Group IIIb of the Periodic Table, e.g., Tl, In or Ga. |
