Nouvelles imidazoquinoléines et leurs sels, répondant à la formule générale (I): (I) dans laquelle X et Y, identiques ou différents, représentent un atome d'hydrogène, un atome d'halogène ou un radical alcoxy renfermant de 1 à 5 atome de carbone, Z représente un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone, éventuellement substituée par deux ou plusieurs groupements hydroxy libres ou protégés, ou Z représente un groupement dans lequel n représente un nombre entier de 1 à 6 et R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, représentent un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone ou forment avec l'atome d'azote un hétérocycle saturé renfermant de 4 à 6 atomes de carbone et pouvant comporter, si désiré, un autre hétéroatome, qui peut, le cas échéant, être substitué par un radical alcoyle renfermant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone. Ces imidazoquinoléines possèdent de remarquables propriétés anti-allergiques et bronchodilatatrices. Novel imidazoquinolines of the formula I wherein X and Y are individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen and alkoxy of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, Z is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms optionally substituted with at least two hydroxyls or protected hydroxyls and n is an integer from 1 to 6 and R1 and R2 are individually alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms and taken together with the nitrogen to which they are attached form a saturated heterocyclic ring containing 4 to 6 carbon atoms and optionally interrupted by another heteroatom which further heteroatom is optionally substituted with alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms and non-toxic, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof having antiallergic and bronchodilatory activity and their preparations.
