Summary:A drawout switchgear characterized by a circuit interrupter unit movable into and out of a cell between disconnected and connected positions of stationary primary terminal means supported in the cell and on said unit, retractable second contact means engageable at an intermediate position between the disconnected and connected positions, and a levering-in mechanism for moving said unit between disconnected, intermediate, and connected positions of said terminal and contact means, the levering-in mechanism comprising a cam having a slot of two segments one of which has a higher mechanical advantage and the other for moving the unit into the connected position.
