Summary:The method for manufacturing light filtering, heat-, and radio reflecting, electrically heated organic glass consists in that a coat of an inorganic material semitransparent for the visible region of the spectrum (functional coat) is applied onto the surface of organic glass by the method of thermic evaporation in vacuum. Then, another coat of an inorganic colorless substance semitransparent to the visible light (protective coat) is applied over the former coat, also by the thermic evaporation in vacuum method. Said glass is finally triplexed with similar organic glass having no such coats. The method can be used to prepare triplex organic glass of high quality devoid of any mechanical defects in the functional coat. Said triplex organic glass can be used for glazing cockpits and cabins of aircraft, water and surface transport vehicles, and also for the manufacture of spectacles, goggles, protective masks, etc.
