In the examples a cured urea-formaldehyde foam was ball milled and then blended with either an uncured spray dried melamine- or urea - formaldehyde resin, optionally α-cellulose, and polyvinylacetate, phthalic anhydride, glycerol monostearate, zinc oxide, hexamethylene and/or polypropylene glycol; or alternatively with an urea-formaldehyde resin syrup, α-cellulose, hexamethylene tetramine, zinc stearate, monocresylglyceryl ether, barium sulphate and calcium hydroxide.
