a presente invenção refere-se a método para a aplicação de estímulo tendo uma magnitude desejada da amostra biológica em teste em uma célula de medição da tira de teste (800). o método compreendendo as etapas de aplicar o estímulo à tira de teste (800); medir a magnitude de uma diferença de voltagem que é produzida através da célula de medição em resposta ao estímulo; e ajustar a magnitude do estimulo aplicada à tira de teste (800) de modo que a diferença de voltagem produzida através da célula de medição apresenta substancialmente a mesma magnitude da magnitude desejada. Abstract: The present invention provides a method for applying a stimulus having a desired magnitude to a biological sample under test in a measurement cell of a test strip. The method comprises the steps of (i) applying a stimulus to the test strip, (ii) measuring the magnitude of a voltage difference that is produced across the measurement cell in response to the stimulus; and adjusting the magnitude of the stimulus applied to the test strip such that the voltage difference produced across the measurement cell has substantially the same magnitude as the desired magnitude.
