Summary:A method for opening of an automatically controlled clutch (106) of a vehicle which comprises a combustion engine (101) for generating driving force intended for transmission to at least one powered wheel (113, 114) via the clutch and a gearbox (103). The method includes opening the clutch at an initial rate to at least a first position substantially corresponding to a position at which the clutch can at most transmit the maximum torque which the combustion engine can deliver at idling speed, and from the first position, opening the clutch at a second rate which is lower than the initial rate.
