A presente invenção se refere a um cabeçote decapador de cabos que compreende uma base (1), uma pinça fixa (2) fixada na base (1), um fuso (6) conectado à base (1) por meio de um furo passante rosqueado, uma pinça móvel (3) conectada ao fuso (6), e duas matrizes de corte (12) para decapagem acopláveis na pinça fixa (2) e na pinça móvel (3). O fuso (6) possui um cabeçote com rasgo para receber torque de um dispositivo aplicador de torque, em que o torque aplicado no fuso (6) desloca a pinça móvel (3) no sentido longitudinal na direção da pinça fixa (2).
