A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para reter de maneira seletiva uma abertura de uma embalagem em uma configuração aberta e uma embalagem que inclui o dispositivo aplicado a um corpo da embalagem. O dispositivo inclui uma tira circunferencial com costuras laterais formadas como articulações verticais ou longitudinais. Uma ou mais linguetas estendem-se em uma primeira direção axial a partir de uma borda superior da tira circunferencial nas costuras laterais. Cada lingueta é acoplada à tira circunferencial com uma articulação horizontal ou transversal. As linguetas são pivotáveis em torno das articulações horizontais ou transversais em direções opostas afastadas do eixo da abertura para as respectivas posições dobradas, o que impede que o dispositivo seja dobrado nas costuras laterais e retenha uma configuração aberta escancarada do dispositivo e da embalagem.
