Propylene polymer based compositions which have a sealing temperature below 80 degrees C and contain less than 1 wt.% of units derived from ethylene. The compositions comprise 35-68 wt.% of a propylene block copolymer containing 14-30 wt.% of units derived from 1-butene and 0-0.5 units derived from ethylene and 65-32 wt.% of a propylene copolymer containing 35-65 wt.% of monomers derived from 1-butene and 0-1 wt.% of units derived from ethylene. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) thermosealable multilayer sheets comprising one or more layer consisting substantially of a claimed composition; and (2) packaging material based on the sheets.
