Summary:Granulation treatment (pseudo-granulation or pelletization) of a composition for granulation treatment is carried out, the composition for granulation treatment being so prepared that an amount of fine particles floating in water will be not less than 2weight% of the solids of the composition for granulation treatment after a predetermined time since the composition for granulation treatment including, in a predetermined ratio, raw materials (raw materials for sinter or pellet materials) for iron and steel making is dispersed in water. This provides a method of carrying out granulation treatment of the raw materials for iron and steel making, which is suitable for use in the granulation treatment of the raw materials for iron and steel making, and the pseudo-granulation or the pelletization.
