Summary: | The module is used for mechanical cleaning of wire form scale and/or mechanical impurities and for removing the stressing from it before its subsequent calibration or any other type of treatment in the metallurgical industry. The module consists of a housing (1) having a horizontal (2) and vertical (2a) carriage, mounted to it, and driven in a reciprocation motion manner. Each of the carriages (2, 2a) is supplied with a pair of horizontal (4, 5) and vertical (4a, 5a) treatment heads. Each treatment head consists of a drum along the periphery of which axles (9) are fixed parallel to its axis, on which working tools (10) are freely inserted. The line for mechanical cleaning consists of at least three cleaning modules arranged in series and dephased around the axis of the rolled wire (11) at an angle equal to 3600, divided by the number of the treatment heads of all the modules. |
