Summary:The method is used in veterinary medicine. The vaccine produced by simplified and profit-making technological process is highly effective and lasting. The vaccine is made when liver tissue from rabbits infected by the virus is mechanically destroyed in a solution of sodium chloride containing 0.8-0.2% saponin and is inactivated at temperatures from 67-69°C for 80 to 100 min., after which it is freeze-dried.
