Summary: | This pre-selector is use in power transformers that are regulated under load. It has an improved operative safety, reduced consumption of material and labour, and easier production and exploitation. The pre-selector contains an insulation column - located between a top and bottom bearing plate - on which static contacting elements and a G-shaped contacting element, located in the last one, are fastened. Insulating bearers, with static contacting elements located on them, are attached to the insulating column (IC). The IC is unified with the insulating columns of the selector and two short insulating bearers are laterally fastened to it (when the pre-selector is used as a turner), or two long insulating bearers (when it comes to a rough step). The IC may consist of two insulation racks, connected to each other with a profile bracket. When the pre-selector is used as a turner, the static contacting elements are located on the lateral surfaces of the insulating racks. |
