Summary:The on board system is mounted in the cargo cabin of helicopter Mi-17 and is used for fore extinguishing in areas with difficult access. It is designed by using well-known pneumoelements and technological design, ensuring reliable operation and safe protection. The system comprises a control panel (1), which includes well-known individual pneumo- and electropneumatic elements (17, 18, 19, 20), power module (2) and tank (3) with a metal sleeve (6) and two mobile valves (7), which by means of grips and thrusts (9) are pivotally connected to the pistons of cylinders (11) of the power module (2). As a result of the introduction of new known elements in the control circuitry three, independent from each other, systems are formed for operating the system during different modes, thus improving the reliability and safety of the system. 8 claims, 6 figures
