Summary:Pharmaceutical composition which can be administered topically and which contains a D-homosteroid of the formula in which R is hydrogen, methyl, chlorine or fluorine, R is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine, R is oxo or ( alpha -H, beta -OH), R is hydroxyl or acyloxy, R is a group -O-R or -CH2-R , R is lower alkyl, chloro- lower alkyl or fluoro-lower alkyl, R is hydrogen, chlorine, fluorine, hydroxyl or acyloxy, and the dotted 1,2-bond is a facultative of C-C bond, and, in the event that R is a group -O- R , it is possible for a double bond to exist in the 16, 17- position, and a compound of the formula in which R is hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and R , R and R are hydrogen, lower alkoxy, hydroxy-lower alkoxy, or two adjacent radicals R , R , R and R together are methylenedioxy, and at least one radical R , R , R or R contains oxygen.
