Summary:Inactivation of a virus coated in a viral preparation containing principally non coated virus is new and comprises introducing into the viral preparation an sufficient quantity of a solvent and leave to adjust to a temperature of -5 - 50 degrees C, at a pH of 5-9 for a sufficient amount of time to significantly reduce the amount of viral preparation coated virus.
