USE OF COMPOUNDS CONTAINING POLYALKYLENE OXIDE CHAINS AND NITROGEN FOR REMOVING PRINTING INK FROM RECYCLED PRINTED PAPER AND/OR PAPER PROCESSING WATER

The invention concerns the use of water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds containing polyalkylene oxide chains and nitrogen, prepared by reacting compounds of general formula (I), in which R is a z-valent alkoxy residue, AO is 1-100 alkylene oxide units composed of 0-100 C2?H4?O units, 0-50 C3?...

Summary:The invention concerns the use of water-soluble or water-dispersible compounds containing polyalkylene oxide chains and nitrogen, prepared by reacting compounds of general formula (I), in which R is a z-valent alkoxy residue, AO is 1-100 alkylene oxide units composed of 0-100 C2?H4?O units, 0-50 C3?H6?O units and 0-30 C4?H8?O units, Hal represents chlorine and/or bromine atoms, p is a whole number between 0 and 3 and q is 0 or 1, provided that p + q is not equal to 0, and z is a whole number from 1 to 10, with ammonia, C1-22?-alkylamines and/or aliphatic di- and/or polyamines, to remove printing ink from recycled printed paper and/or paper processing water.
