Summary:The invention relates to a non-aqueous wood preservative directed against dry wood pests which comprises at least one caring, repelling or biocidal active substance, and has at least one supporting substance which supports this at least one active substance. According to the invention, the supporting substances or one of the supporting substances are/is an ester of monovalent, low molecular alcohols with fatty acids of a natural oil of vegetable origin, whereby the proportion of these supporting substances is equal to 20-100 wt.%.
