Summary:1. A plinth cover for electrical domestic appliances such as dish washers, laundry washing machines, refrigerators and the like, whose plinths can be adapted to the plinth height and depth of kitchen furniture units, using fitted parts which are secured to the appliance chassis, which parts cover the appliance over the full width, so that it is flush with the front and with the recessed plinth of the kitchen unit, characterized in that it comprises at least two moulded sections (A, B) of which one section takes the from of an adjustable-height frame (A1, A2) for receiving ornamental panels or the like and the other section is L-shaped (B), the horizontal part (9) of the L-shaped section (B) or a part (C) which serves as a spacer being secured to the lower part (27) of the frame (A1, A2) and the vertical part (10) of the L-shaped section (B) being secured to the appliance chassis (2) in a recessed manner, if required by means of adjustable spacers (6), for example expansion dowels.
