Summary: | This invention relates to a method for exactly detecting the inflow of slag into a molten steel stream when a molten steel is poured into an intermediate vessel such as a ladle or a tundish from a refining vessel such as a refining furnace or a ladle through a tap hole or a nozzle, by supplying an inert gas into the molten steel flow inside the nozzle from the side of the tap hole or the nozzle and detecting the inflow of slag on the basis of changes in the flow rate of the inert gas absorbed into the molten steel stream and a back pressure. |
