The structured document may describe multiple tiers of the software application (e.g., a presentation tier, a logic tier and a data tier) and may defined any one or more of data, logic and interfaces of the software application. In one exemplary embodiment, the creating of the structured document includes extracting the structured document from first metadata describing the software application (114).
