Summary: | In an apparatus for processing a repeatedly reproduced single field of a color video signal, the phase of a chrominance subcarrier in the color video signal is shifted by 90 degrees at each field period, and the single repeatedly reproduced field of the color video signal is selectively delayed during alternate field pericds for a delay time equal to one-half the horizontal scanning period so that the single field, as repeatedly reproduced and selectively delayed in two successive field periods, can function as interlaced fields of a frame while avoiding disturbance of the chrominance subcarrier due to the selective delaying in alternate field periods. |
