Abstract The present invention provides a running tool, comprising a tubular body including a central bore, a first port, and a second port, as well as a seat disposed in the central bore between the first port and the second port. The running tool further comprises a piston sleeve disposed around the tubular body and moveable from a closed position to an open position, wherein the piston sleeve includes an opening, as well as a sealing assembly disposed between the piston sleeve and the tubular body, wherein the sealing assembly blocks fluid communication between the central bore and the opening when the piston sleeve is in the closed position. The running tool still further comprises a chamber disposed between the piston sleeve and the tubular body, wherein the sealing assembly divides the chamber into a first chamber portion and a second chamber portion, wherein the first chamber portion is in communication with the first port and the second chamber portion is in communication with the second port, wherein the opening is in fluid communication with the central bore through the first chamber portion and first port when the piston sleeve is in the open position.
