Summary:The present disclosure relates to a method of detecting a virus particle in one or more individuals comprising: individually combining surface antigen antibody-coated beads with a sample from each of said one or more individuals to form an admixture corresponding to each individual, wherein the surface antigen antibody is alpaca-derived nanobody; mixing the beads and sample of each individual's admixture; incubating the admixture(s); and detecting whether agglutination has occurred in each individual's admixture.
