When the sampling tool is moving downwards, the petal assembly (4) is clamped by utilizing an upward acting force of water flow and sediments on the turnover lever assembly (3), so as to keep the petal assembly (4) in an open state during the whole sampling process. When the sampling is completed and the sampling tool starts to be lifted en upwards, the petal assembly (4) is pried by utilizing a downward acting force of the sediments on the turnover lever assembly (3), so CA as to close the petal assembly (4).
