Summary:The present invention belongs to the field of biomedical technology and relates to hydrogels for medical uses, in particular to a self-assembling peptide and applications thereof. The self assembling peptide provided by the present invention having an amino acid sequence shown as SEQ ID NO: 1, not only maintains a solution state under higher pH conditions but also has a acidity that is easily neutralized, thereby avoiding affecting the pH of body fluids in vivo. Additionally, it exhibits lower cytotoxicity and good cytocompatibility, while also demonstrating improved mechanical properties.
