Summary:The invention relates to a composition comprising fermented molasses and at least one colloidal filler having a density of greater than or equal to 1.8 at 20°C. The invention also relates to the use of fermented molasses as a dispersant for a colloidal filler in a dispersion, preferably in a drilling fluid, in a detergent composition or in a pigment paste. The invention also relates to the use of a fermented molasses composition for forming a coating on a surface, wherein the composition comprises at least 35% by weight of dry matter of fermented molasses relative to the total weight of the composition.
