Summary:Disclosed is a battery pack that can ensure safety even if a thermal event occurs. The battery pack according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a battery module including one or more battery cells; a control module connected to the battery module so as to manage the battery module; and a fire-extinguishing tank, which has a fire-extinguishing agent, is coupled to the battery module and/or the control module, and includes a rupture member that can be ruptured in predetermined conditions so that a fire-extinguishing agent can flow out.
