Summary:The present disclosure relates to a lock for a pet transporter. The lock comprising a gear drive set, at least one pair of lock rods, and a chassis. Each lock rod comprising an inner end comprising a rack portion having a structure for engaging with a transmission gear of the gear drive set, each transmission gear having a structure for engaging with a main gear of the gear drive set such that rotation of the main gear drives rotation of each engaged transmission gear. Wherein, in use, rotation of the main gear in a first direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods into the corresponding lock holes to engage the lock, and rotation of the main gear in an opposite direction synchronously drives the first pair of lock rods out of the corresponding lock holes to disengage the lock.
