Summary: | Peptides that have an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 2 to SEQ ID NO: 20, as well as pharmaceutical compositions comprising said peptides. Pharmaceutical composition for the treatment or prevention of infections caused by viruses that infect epithelial cells of the mammalian respiratory system, comprising a peptide that has an amino acid sequence identified as SEQ ID NO: 1. The invention includes the use of peptides that have an amino acid sequence identified as SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 20 for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of infections caused by viruses that infect epithelial cells of the mammalian respiratory system. Also disclosed is a combination of at least one peptide of amino acid sequence identified as SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 20 with an antiviral medication. |
