Provided are a product recommendation method and apparatus, a computer storage medium, and system. The method comprises: determining a target product potential expectation value and a target gradient value of a target user (S101); on the basis of the target product potential expectation value and the target gradient value, determining a similar user set (S102); in the similar user set, acquiring a plurality of gradient values corresponding to a plurality of products to be recommended for each user, and composing a similar user gradient value set by using the plurality of gradient values (S103); and determining at least one recommended gradient value from the similar user gradient value set, and recommending at least one product to be recommended corresponding to at least one recommended gradient value to the target user (S104). As such, a change trend of a preferred product of the target user can be analyzed by means of the target product potential expectation value and the target gradient value to thereby acquire a similar user set having a similarity with the target user, and a recommended product is more accurately provided for the target user according to the similar user set.
