Summary:A wireless detonation system (1) has a blasting operation device (40), a detonator (10), and a relay device (30). The blasting operation device (40) is positioned at a distance from a work face (71) and transmits a first downlink wireless signal of a first frequency. The detonator (10) is loaded into a gunpowder charging hole (72) in the work face (71) and comprises a receiving coil (12) that receives a second downlink wireless signal of a second frequency lower than the first frequency. The relay device (30) comprises: a first transmitting-receiving antenna (35) that receives the first downlink wireless signal; a relay processor (32) that performs reception processing on the first downlink wireless signal and performs transmission processing with the second downlink wireless signal of the second frequency; and a second transmitting-receiving antenna (37) that transmits the second downlink wireless signal. The second transmitting-receiving antenna (37) is loaded into an insertion hole (74) in the work face (71) by the side of the gunpowder charging hole (72).
