Summary:USING HUMAN MOTION SENSORS TO DETECT MOVEMENT WHEN IN THE VICINITY OF HYDRAULIC ROBOTS A robotic motion control system is described that has a multi-axis robot (1602) in communication with a motion controller (1604) that receives motion control instructions controlling motion of the multi-axis robot (1602) in a work area; a human sensor (1608) in communication with the motion controller (1604), and calibrated to scan the work area using structured light sensors to identify a human and motion thereof within the work area; and the human sensor (1608) configured to detect if an identified human moves within a first distance of the multi-axis robot (1602) and communicate a warning, and communicate a stop-motion instruction to the motion controller (1604) if the identified human moves within a second distance of the multi-axis robot (1602) that is less than the first distance.
