Recently the demand for green products and services have been increased.In order to meet the customers ever growing demand for eco-friendly products , there are several instances in which companies spending more time and money claiming to be "Green" through advertising and marketing rather than actually implementing business practices that minimize environmental impact which is known as Greenwashing. In order to bring transparency and end to end visibility of the overall supply chain of environment friendly products, this invention uses blockchain technology.The purpose of the new system is to use the blockchain technology and add traceability, and security to the products supply chain.Every operation that is performed on a certain products can be tracked with the changes made in its unique code and if any possibility of attack in the form of inserting a counterfeit product or false claims information regarding the environmental friendly products in the supply chain network happens then it can be easily detected and mitigated.
