Summary: | The present invention relates toan FPGA based access control system method for DCT compressed images. The system has two major modules for encoding and decoding of DCT compressed images. Encoder module performs compr7ession, modulation and symbol encoding. Decoder module performs reverse operation of encoder module - symbol decoding, demodulation and decompression to reconstruct the original image.Passive data hiding is used for image identification, so that the authorized user enjoys full quality. Signal distortions caused due to data hiding are reverted in the process. The main objective of the invention is to provide novel hardware architecture for the passive data-hiding scheme to achieve a reliable and high-performance image access control system. The system can be implemented through both serial as well as parallel hardware design. The FPGA based implementation saves considerable power in real time processing than the related implementation found in the literature. |
