Summary:Abstract The present invention relates to the technical field of tea application, particularly relates to the application of Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea, and more particularly relates to the application of Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea in the preparation of drugs or food for alleviating non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases. Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea is applied to the preparation of products for alleviating non-alcoholic fatty liver, and, more specifically, the application of Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea in the preparation of drugs/food for alleviating non-alcoholic fatty liver is the key scope of protection of the present invention. The Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea is any one of Exocarpium Citri Grandis black tea, Exocarpium Citri Grandis yellow tea and Exocarpium Citri Grandis green tea. The Exocarpium Citri Grandis tea provided by the present invention is capable of significantly lowering the lipid deposition in HepG2 cell model, up-regulating p-AMPK/AMPK, p-ACC/ACC and CPT-1 by regulating AMPK signal pathway so as to promote lipid oxidation, and down-regulating SREBPlc and FAS protein expression so as to inhibit fat synthesis, thereby reducing lipid deposition in hepatocytes, improving non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases caused by high fat diet, bad habits and so on, and noticeably alleviating non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases.
