Summary:The present disclosure provides methods and systems for analysis of genomic sequence information. The present disclosure provides, among other things, methods and systems for characterizing sequence conservation. As is discussed herein, certain methods and systems of the present disclosure include assignment of a similarity score to a sequence or pairwise sequence comparison based on a measure of coverage and a measure of identity between two aligned sequences.
