Summary:The present application provides an anti-seismic assembly and a modular building. The anti-seismic assembly is provided between a main frame and a movable frame spaced apart from the main frame. The anti-seismic assembly comprises a fixed member and a movable member. The fixed member is provided on a lower surface of the top portion of the main frame. The movable member is used to connect the fixed member to the movable frame. The bottom portion of the movable member is inserted into the top of a column of the movable frame. The movable member is movable in a height direction of the main frame relative to the movable frame. The top of the movable member is connected to the fixed member. The movable member is movable in a horizontal direction relative to the fixed member. In the anti-seismic assembly according to the present application, the movable member is movable in the height direction of the main frame relative to the movable frame, and the movable member is movable in the horizontal direction relative to the fixed member, thereby preventing collision or compression between the movable frame and the main frame.
