Summary:The invention relates to a welding unit (1) for thermally welding film tubes, particularly for a water-free toilet, wherein at least two welding means (2, 2a) which can move relative to one another are provided for thermally welding a film tube, and each welding means (2, 2a) is designed such that it can move by means of at least one articulated arrangement (3, 3a), wherein said at least one articulated arrangement (3, 3a) comprises at least one articulated lever (4, 4a-4e).
