Summary:The present invention relates to a steam extractor device having a suction opening (20) and, arranged under the suction opening (20), a fan by means of which the primary air (P) is drawn downward via the suction opening (20), the steam extractor device being characterized in that the steam extractor device (2) has at least one expulsion opening (21) which is adjacent to the suction opening (20) and via which an oriented secondary air stream (S) is expelled.
