Summary: | A method for producing a cell culture carrier configured from a hydrogel having high shape retentivity and a device for producing the cell culture carrier are developed, and a structure comprising a cell culture carrier produced using the method and device is provided. The method has: a holding step for causing a first solution to be held on a support, the first solution including a multibranched polymer that has polyethylene glycol as the skeleton and has one functional group from among one or more nucleophilic functional groups or electrophilic functional groups in a side chain and/or at an end; and a gel formation step for causing a second solution to land, using a droplet discharge device, so as to contact the first solution held on the support to form one or more dot-shaped hydrogels, the second solution containing a multibranched polymer that has polyethylene glycol as the skeleton and has the other functional group from among the one or more nucleophilic functional groups or electrophilic functional groups in a side chain and/or at an end. |
