Summary: | Provided is a microfluidic system for delivering external substances into cells by cell perforation performed using inertia, the system comprising a fluid channel structure through which a solution containing cells and external substances continuously flows, wherein the fluid channel structure includes a junction between one or more channels, a local vortex occurs near the interface of the junction, the cells are deformed by the vortex, the vortex causes a temporary discontinuity in the cell membrane, and the external substances are introduced into the cells by solution exchange between the cells and the fluid around the cells. |
