Summary: | The invention relates to inorganic particle slurries and coated articles having hydrophobic inorganic particles and at least one metal salt, wherein the hydrophobic inorganic particles are inorganic particles having a hydrophobic coating selected from the group consisting of polyols, organosiloxanes, organosilanes, alkylcarboxylic acids, alkylsulfonates, organophosphates, organophosphonates, fluoropolymers, fluorosurfactants, and mixtures thereof, and wherein the metal of the metal salt is selected from the group consisting of barium, cobalt, zinc, tin, lead, copper, calcium, titanium, zirconium, magnesium, and aluminum. The combination of hydrophobic inorganic particles and metal salts provides synergistic effects in stain migration prevention, protective, and light scattering properties. |
